Deeanne Gist does it again. I started reading this book expecting it to be a romantic comedy. But it ended up being something totally different and wonderful. I don't want to give anything away but I will say that Essie has to be the most real character I've met in a book. She wasn't perfect and guess what..she's makes a huge mistake. And with God's grace she discovers some important things about herself and God. Like I said I don't want to give anything away but I totally recommend this book. I enjoyed this book so much I went out today and bought the second book in this series, Deep in the Heart of Trouble. I'm giving Courting Trouble five out of five starts. Tuesday, July 8, 2008
