My Latest Addiction

A couple of weeks ago I was minding my own business and just reading a knitting blog when I see her mention a hexipuff. I said to myself, "What the heck is a hexipuff?" So I head on over to Raverly to figure out what on earth a hexipuff is. I soon discover the Beekeeper's Quilt and after thinking about it for a minute a two I purchase the pattern and the addiction began. The quilt is made of a bunch of these little hexagons, aka hexipuffs.

Pretty neat, huh? They are really easy and surprisingly addictive to make. Which is probably a good thing since I will need a few hundred to make me a small quilt. I have about twenty so far but haven't really knitted any in about a week. I had to make myself work a few gifts since it's getting close to Christmas and as money is going to be tight I see a lot of gift making in my future. Oh well, at least I have a ton of yarn in my stash to make a few gifts for my family.

Anyway, knitting hexipuffs has definitely become my latest addiction and I just thought I'd share and maybe infect someone else with the "hexi-bug" ;)
